Green Building Certification
Green Building Certification Services is a participatory and coordinated effort between the GSDIPL team comprising of Architects, Water, Energy, Infrastructure experts and the client and his design team to make sure that the project truly responds to the cultural and socio-economic context and to find ways to increase the sustainability quotient within the cost parameters defined by the client.
Our team of Engineers and Architects are well versed with all the Sustainability Frameworks that are available in the market that includes the frameworks of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) star ratings and The Energy Resource Institute (TERI) promoted GRIHA rating systems. Given such wide understanding and application of these frameworks on projects, we come to the discussion table with many options and value added consultancy. Our extensive work experience in sustainability consulting enables us to provide the client, during the course of a project, opportunities to increase the role of sustainability by employing practical and efficient cost reduction measures.
Sustainability or Green building is thankfully getting more popular today. GSDIPL have been started Green buildings. We feel that sustainability should have common practice. GSDIPL is the member of IGBC council and its Environmental Architect is an IGBC AP (Indian Green Building Council Accredited Professional). We encourage all of our clients to build green.
We encourage all of our clients to build green. For those that chose to certify their efforts with the LEED Green Building Rating System, we are qualified and experienced to guide them through the process. The LEED Green Building Rating System is a voluntary, consensus-based national rating system for buildings designed, constructed and operated for improved environmental and human health performance. LEED addresses all building types and emphasizes state-of-the-art strategies in five areas:
1. Sustainable site development
2. Water savings
3. Materials and resources selection
4. Energy efficiency
5. Indoor environmental quality
Green building requires an integrated approach during the design and construction process. GSDIPL uses a collaborative team approach where the owner, architect, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, landscape architects, interior designers, commissioning agents and contractors are brought into the design process as early as possible. This team approach assures a thorough analysis of potential green strategies and increases the likelihood that the green goals and objectives will be met.
